Video Editing
Based in Wetherby and Leeds, providing a national service , including DVD authoring and full reproduction and art sevices.

We provide a comprehensive editing service, using state-of the art computer based non-linear editing systems

This system allows loss-less reproduction from digital input to digital output. In layman’s terms this means that the edited digital picture and audio quality remains virtually the same as on the original footage.

Formats
Our preferred format is digital (DVCam, DV), although we can handle other formats including Hi8, Video8, SVHS and VHS (inc the 'C' versions)

Effects
Our digital editing systems come with hundreds of transitions and special effects. Our editors know when and how to use them in the best possible way.

Library shots
Need a helicopter shot of New York? Or perhaps a 30 second shot of a beach in the Bahamas? If you want to fly us out to those locations to get them, we’ll be very pleased to do that for you. Alternatively, for a lot less money, we can get hold of library shots of these. Prices can vary, depending on the length and complexity of what you want – but if it’s there, we can get it.

Music
Visuals alone don't look right without some kind of introductory or background music. We have an in-house library of copyright-free music covering most themes and moods, which is supplied free to you, the customer.

Customer input
We are very happy to take directions from our customers. Quite often we supply time-coded raw footage tapes which our clients then can peruse in their own time, making their own edit decision list of what’s definitely required. This not only saves the client editing time and therefore money, it also allows them to make sure that they definitely have everything they want on their edit.

Home videos
We often edit customers’ home videos, shot on Mini DV, VHS, VHS-C, Video8 or Hi8, as well as digital formats. Frequently this is done in conjunction with the customer or after we have been supplied with an edit decision list from one of our time-coded copies. We can also include slides, cine films, and film interviews for inclusion. See Family Heirlooms.

Copyright
If the material we are given to edit is under copyright by anyone other than our clients, then we have to have the owner’s permission in writing by law before we are allowed to proceed to edit it or reproduce it it any way.

Security
Any materials sent to us to be edited should be sent by registered post for added security. Master material is returned to our clients the same way, unless arrangements have been made to pick it up in person.
